Meaghan J. Fitzpatrick

Pre-licensed Counsellor, MAPC

I know from my own experience the power of having a space where you don't have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have it all figured out.

I believe our minds, bodies, and emotions are deeply connected. When life feels overwhelming or painful, our nervous systems adapt to help us survive. Rather than seeing these responses as something that's "wrong," I see them as signs that your nervous system has been working incredibly hard to protect you.

Together, we'll slow things down enough to understand your story, make sense of patterns that may no longer be serving you, and create experiences of safety, connection, and self-compassion that support lasting change.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person. I draw from attachment-based and polyvagal perspectives alongside Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parts-based approaches. I integrate evidence-based practices while trusting that you already carry insight, resilience, and wisdom.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, chronic stress, neurodivergence, or a major life transition, my hope is to offer a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and accepted and are able to access ways of moving through life with greater flexibility, self-compassion, and connection.

Areas of practice:

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Self-Worth and Self-Esteem

  • Trauma

  • Stress and Burnout

  • Grief and Loss

  • Relationship Challenges

  • ADHD

  • Nervous System Regulation

  • Life Transitions
